At Beltway Sports Page we are dedicated to supporting DC metro area athletes and all their achievements both locally and nationally. We will be bringing you coverage from high school, collegiate, and professional levels as well as anything that we think might be newsworthy in the District, Maryland, and Virginia.
Our main goal is to promote area talent and continue to put the DC area on the map by providing comprehensive coverage of DMV players on issues which we think are newsworthy. Don’t get it twisted, we are not in the interest of spreading rumors, gossiping or any of that nonsense about our athletes because there’s 6 million other blogs for that, choose 1 (Realistically, if it’s really, really silly then we might have no choice but to fry you but it’s all love…it’s the DMV way). In all honesty, our focus is really just to create a platform where area news can be recognized and provided for those who remember the days when these guys and girls were just ballin at AAU games or made you look silly in gym class.
Our content will primarily be focused on football and basketball, but we’ll definitely post things from other sports just for fun because we enjoy watching other ballers as well. We are not journalists nor do we claim to be, but we are sports enthusiasts born and raised in this area who love seeing our athletes do their part to represent the “urea!”
