Around The League: NBA

  • Indiana Pacers Center Roy Hibbert is averaging 17.2 ppg and 10.5 reb in the last week.
  • After a slow start Kevin Durant and the OKC thunder are 7-4 and KD is currently leading the league in scoring with 28 ppg.
  • Mike Beasley may not be the happiest he had to leave South Beach to go to the Twin Cites but lately he has been leaving it all on the court avg. 32 ppg in the past week including a 42 point performace against Sacramento.
  • Denver Nuggets Ty Lawson’s favorite opponent must be the Champion Los Angeles Lakers. Last year he had a dunk to remember and this year he had season 17 points off the bench that led them to victory.
  • In other news NBDL season starts tonight on Versus and area guard Isaiah Swann will be playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. “This is for everyone that has questions about the game.. Its on Thursday the 18th.. @ 8 o’clock p.m Eastern… on Versus.. Thats channel 44 if you got Comcast.. I will be wearing #4.. If you don’t have Comcast check your local listings cuz thats all I know.. So if you have anymore ?’s look it up yourself cuz then you are just being Hollla!!”
  • Also Josh Howard may not be getting familiar with the DC basketball team on the court but he surely is getting used to DC in general. In his blog he writes “One thing I have experienced is the Chicken and Mambo sauce. That’s a D.C. thing and a lot of people don’t know too much about that outside of this area. It’s pretty interesting to have a different kind of sauce like that. I like it.” Respect!
